The word Belgrade means White City, but you should think about having a guided tour to its green areas! If you came to Belgrade by plane, during the final approach, you probably saw from your window a mountain with a TV tower, positioned just outside of the city. Well – that’s the 511 meters high Avala Mountain. With us, you can take a private guided tour to the Avala and the TV Tower.

Main interests there are:

– 205 meter high TV Tower, that we will visit (and have a drink if you like in its circular bar at the tower’s 119th meter),

– Monument to the Unknown Hero,

– Monument to the Liberators of Belgrade and

– the Nature itself.

The Avala is a green oasis within easy reach from downtown Belgrade with monuments of historic and artistic value about Serbia’s 20th century. There are also several nice restaurants serving traditional dishes in a beautiful natural setting.

The Avala is synonymous with Belgrade and very popular with the locals. We, the Belgraders, like to say that when returning from a journey (by car, train or plane), the Avala, like a lighthouse, is the first thing we see when we approach to the city. Thus, we feel reassured, knowing the home is near.
